Microsoft Studios
About
Microsoft Studios is a game publishing division of American--based Microsoft Corporation. As well as having multiple studios in its possession, Microsoft Studio works with multiple partners on Microsoft-acquired titles. History Established in 2002 as Microsoft Game Studios, the division was formed to develop games for the newly released Xbox and assist other developers in bringing their titles to the platform. It was rebranded as Microsoft Studios in 2011. Operation Microsoft Studios focuses on many genres and game series, offering everything the customer could want from military shooters to racing titles. Most of such titles are developed exclusively for Xbox, while some of them are cross-platform with PC. However, major titles are often rendered exclusive for Microsoft's own platform, such as Gears of War, Halo, Forza Motorsport, and so on.
