NAMCO BANDAI Games is a Japanese-based video game development division of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. History The division was established on March 31st, 2006. Since then, the division's publishing efforts were taken over by Bandai Namco Entertainment. On April 1st, 2009, the studio merged Bandai Networks that was responsible for Namco Bandai's mobile game development. At the beginning of 2011, all mobile gaming operations were taken over by Namco Bandai Games. Operations Namco Bandai games does not publish games. Instead, it focuses on game development for its parent company, Bandai Namco Entertainment. The studio does not focus on a particular genre or game series. Having over 1000 employees, Namco Bandai games can afford game development for a wide variety of platforms from Nintendo DS to PlayStation. The most notable titles developed by Namco Bandai Games include Naruto game series, Ridge Racer series, Dynasty Warriors series, Tekken 6 and its expansions as well as Tekken 7.
