Barbie of Swan Lake: The Enchanted Forest

Children join Barbie as Swan Lake's Odette, who, along with Lila the unicorn, must work to break an enchanted spell. It seems that all the beauty has disappeared from the lake and forest, and only magic wands will restore order. Children will search for the ingredients to make magic wands, which in turn they'll use to paint the beauty back into the land. This is a very satisfying task, as kids watch their actions create lovely enchanted scenery. As they proceed through the program, children will also help the creatures of the forest solve puzzles and play unusual games. One of our favorites was the firefly catching game where the bugs have to be coaxed into a jar before they escape. This proves to be tricky and fun. In sum, this is a simple, compelling program.
